“To care of another individual means to know and to experience the other as fully as possible.”
As a psychotherapist, I have practiced in healthcare clinics, hospitals, community-health agencies, group practice, and private practice. I have spent time working as a birth doula and with a non-profit advocating for shared-care parenting.
I am deeply committed to lifelong learning, endlessly seeking out opportunities to expand my clinical knowledge so that I may show up to this work informed, educated, and capable.
Beyond my clinical work, I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in social work at Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. In my capacity as a PhD student I conduct research and writing in pursuit of publication. I work as an adjunct instructor and teaching assistant and am passionate about supporting the next generation of social workers, particularly in their learning of assessment, psychopathology, development, clinical practice, and psychoanalytic theory.
